If you’re looking for a more upscale, share-friendly vegan restaurant… Look no further! Fitz on 4th in Queens Village, Philadelphia is a great spot for bringing friends, ordering a bunch of small plates, & enjoying cocktails together. You’ll want to try a little bit of everything here... This spot is top tier for vegan food in the Philly area!

The Atmosphere:

A romantic atmosphere with a variety of tables as well as a small couch section covered in green plants, and mood lighting. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the specials, and the menu is seasonally curated, rotating a couple of dishes on the menu every once in a while.

We sat in the couch area during brunch time which had a lot of natural light and a nice oval table big enough to fit all of the dishes we ordered. It was a comfortable, quiet spot and the perfect opportunity to chat amongst friends while sharing food.

The Food:

The focus on seasonal ingredients is what makes this restaurant so special. Everything is fresh and full of flavor from the salads to the pastas and beyond. Let's get into just a few of the menu options we got the chance to try.

Spinach cashew ricotta ravioli in fra diavolo sauce:

This wasn’t too spicy (for those of you who avoid spice, don’t worry!), but the spinach cashew cheese inside the ravioli was the main event of this dish. Topped with vegan parmesan which was the perfect touch! Absolutely worth the order if it's available when you visit.

Pub Cheese & Pretzels 🥨 :

These were more like breadsticks than pretzels (but who doesn’t love bread!?) & they paired perfectly with the loaded pub cheese. This dip is so flavorful and has a hint of mustard. Think tasty “Biergarten” snacks!

Crab Cakes:

Plant-based "crab" cakes served with za'atar lemon remoulade on a bed of corn relish. I'm not big on vegan seafood (since I never liked it before going vegan) but I can tell you that the non-vegans I dined with were pleasantly surprised by it. The corn relish was my favorite part as it was a unique addition to the dish.

This was all from their dinner menu / specials. They also serve a brunch menu, cocktail menu, and vegan desserts. I can't wait to go back soon and try the crème brûlée!

Final Thoughts

You won't regret adding this restaurant to your list for your next Philadelphia visit! Bring your friends, order one of everything on the menu, and enjoy.
